The Crime Detection & Prevention Platform - For Police By Police
During my time at Nimbus one of the projects I had the pleasure of taking part in was ClearSight. Through the course of various meetings we identified the key requirements of the platform from an accessible User Experience perspective.
The primary goal with this project was ensuring ease of use for persons of varying computer literacy.
In order to identify the range of end users as to the width and breadth of users and their varying levels of computer literacy we conferred with the client to produce several example user profiles which became the crux of the project going forward.
Moving forward from this we focused on the clear and concise communication of our design primarily utilising User Heuristics to guide our design. I was directed to use Norman Nielson’s User Heuristics as design guide to ensure we would stick with this vision.
